Buffalo Niagara International Airport is getting a $65 million upgrade. That’s good news for airlines, passengers — and advertisers.
The renovated airport will feature newly designed walkways, an additional baggage carousel, a play area, a tech center and, most importantly, another entrance to help accommodate an influx of passengers.

New artwork celebrating Las Vegas’ iconic skylines of the past and present has been installed at McCarran International Airport, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Check out the terrazzo floor in the baggage claim area of Terminal 1, and you’ll see a colorful mosaic that looks like a huge poker chip.
The mosaic is the creation of Randy Heil, a 50-year-old native of Nevada who is paralyzed below the shoulders. He designs his pieces by drawing with a pencil in his mouth and then scanning the drawings into a computer that’s operated by a mouth stick.

The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority has recently decided to rename the area’s regional airport the Hollywood Burbank Airport. The renaming is part of a larger rebranding effort, which has thus far included giving the airport a new name, new logo and updated style guides for consistent branding within the airport. The next stage is to launch a new marketing effort aimed at attracting passengers to the airport.

Travelers who haven’t been to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport recently will find that some improvements have been made to Terminal 3, as the first phase of its modernization project has been completed. It’s designed to help travelers find their way more intuitively and also offers aesthetic improvements such as plenty of natural light and beautiful views of Camelback Mountain and the Phoenix skyline.
Other additions include 31 new common use ticket counters and a new security checkpoint that’s designed to be faster for travelers. And as they wait for their flights, travelers can browse through the new Museum Gallery that puts Arizona’s rich heritage in the spotlight.
