Salt Lake City International Airport has seen passenger counts on the rise. Comparing the year ending July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014, there are 501,980 additional passengers! Certainly Alaska Airlines operating in SLC since April 2013 have helped those numbers climb, but all airlines have seen strong summer traffic!
Alaska Airlines started service to seven new destinations from Salt Lake City and expanded service with a third daily flight to Seattle. Flights began in June to Portland, Boise, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose.
Plans for Delta include launching seasonal non-stop service from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam May through October, 2015. The route gives customers connecting opportunities to more than 60 international destinations! The airline will start a daily non-stop flight to Mexico City at the end of the year, and will increase its number of daily flights to other popular Mexico destinations like Cancun and Guadalajara.
